Written by Joey Camen, story follows one man’s descent into sex addiction and how it affects his family and friends.
Sizemore (“Saving Private Ryan”) will play a car salesman in southern California who battles his addiction while trying to maintain a normal life with his wife and their teenage son.
Charles Lago, Gabrielle Lui and Chris Johnson will produce, while Camen will co-produce. Sizemore is set to exec produce.
Bogdanovich and Camen are currently working on refining the script for the project, which is not fully financed yet.
Bogdanovich is the acclaimed director of “Paper Moon” and “The Last Picture Show.” “John Ledger” will mark the first time the two-time Oscar nominee has worked with Sizemore since 2004, when they worked together on the Pete Rose telepic “Hustle.”
