Baja Film Fest enlists submissions

Inaugural event bows Nov. 14 in Los Cabos

The Baja Intl. Film Festival is accepting entries for its inaugural edition, to be held Nov. 14-17. Taking place in the Baja area of Los Cabos, fest is being launched by Scott Cross and Sean Cross, who also founded the Colorado Film Institute and Vail Film Fest.

“The Baja Intl. Film Festival will be a true collaboration between Mexico and the U.S., serving as a bridge between the U.S. and Mexican film industries, and highlighting the best filmmaking from around the world,” said Sean Cross.

Fest advisors include Edward Norton, Kerry David and Gill Holland.

Deadline is Aug. 13 for international and Mexican features, docus and shorts. Go to for more info.
