Environmental Media Awards took place at Warners backlot
Green cars, green food and most of all, green entertainment was available Saturday as Hollywood bizzers and stars alike descended onto the Warner Bros. backlot to celebrate all things eco-loving at the Environmental Media Awards.
Flanked by dancers flaunting S&M whips, Malin Akerman crooned and pranced herself breathless before addressing the crowd for the start of the show. “The night is pregnant with anticipation,” she quipped, poking fun at her impending motherhood.
As expected, one of the night’s highlights came with the arrival of Danny DeVito, who took the stage to receive the award for best feature, “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.”
“I find it appalling that we drive all these gas guzzlers,” DeVito chided. “C’mon, you guys. Your dicks are big enough.”
Also honored were Jessica Alba, Ian Somerhalder, Kelly Meyer and Tesla Motors’ Elon Musk, who said, “We’re playing Russian roulette with the oceans and our environment!”
