“Jolly,” which premiered at Tribeca after wrapping last August, is a dramatic dark comedy from first-time screenwriter Brian Petsos, and first time feature director Chadd Harbold. It stars Petsos, Oscar Isaac, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, Gillian Jacobs, Bobby Moynihan, Garret Dillahunt, Kevin Corrigan, David Rasche, Jayne Atkinson, Ryan Phillippe and Kristen Wiig.
The film was produced by Atlas Independent’s William Green and Aaron Ginsburg as well as A Saboteur’s Brian Petsos.
Atlas Independent said it’s on target to achieve its aim of producing three films per year with Sacha Bennett’s “Get Lucky” in post-production and “Open Grave,” directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego (“Apollo 18”), commencing principal photography this week. It plans to start shooting William Monahan’s “Mojave” in August.
