In a pre-Cannes move, Arclight Films has picked up international sales rights to director Kat Coiro’s romantic drama “While We Were Here,” which world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last month.
Coiro directed from her own script. Film stars Kate Bosworth, Jamie Blackley and Iddo Goldberg.
The film was produced by Lauren Bratman and exec produced by Paris Kasidokostas Latsis and Terry Dougas of 1821 Pictures.
Story is set on the island of Ischia, off the Amalfi coast, and follows a young American writer who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when she accompanies her husband on a business trip.
Coiro is currently in post-production on the feature “Case of You,” starring Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Peter Dinklage and Vince Vaughn.
WME is handling North American rights to ”While You Were Here.”
