Archstone amps up domestic distribution

Co to release six films in 2013

Archstone Distribution is amping up its domestic distribution with plans to release up to six pictures next year starting with Anthony DiBlasi’s “Cassadega.”

“We feel that there is hole in the market for high grade independent titles,” said Archstone prez Brady Bowen. “Many of our producers want to see their film released in theaters and we can offer that service to them.”

“Cassadega,” starring Kelen Coleman and Kevin Alejandro, will open in the top 10 markets in the second half of the year. Movie, written and produced by Scott Poiley and Bruce Wood, centers on a girl seeking solace in a spiritualist community for the death of her younger sister.

Archstone released “The Girl From the Naked Eye” and “For The Love of Money” earlier this year in limited openings.
