Andrew Fleming to helm ‘Guys Night’

Valdez, Bass to produce Millennium pic

Andrew Fleming is going on a “Guys Night,” coming on board to helm the comedy for Millennium Films.

Millenium began development of the project last November when it acquired Chris Baldi’s comedy spec.

Story centers on four guys stuck in dead-end jobs and not-much-better relationships who hear about a mystery island off the coast of New Jersey where anything goes. One night, they set off in search of adventure — but everything that can go wrong does.

Jim Valdez and Matt Bass are producing. Avi Lerner, Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short, Mike Goldberg and Josh Adler are executive producers.

Fleming’s directing credits include “The Craft,” “Nancy Drew” and “Hamlet 2” along with episodes of “Arrested Development” and “Grosse Pointe.”

Fleming recently wrapped production on the indie “Barefoot,” starring Scott Speedman and Evan Rachel Wood.

Fleming is repped by WME.
