ANA builds ‘Timber’ Western

Peck, Ransone to star in pic directed by Anthony O'Brien

ANA Media has set up apocalyptic Western-thriller “The Timber” with Josh Peck and James Ransone set to star.

Anthony O’Brien is set to helm the pic from an original story he co-wrote with Colin Ossiander and Steve Allrich.

Script, set during the 1898 Yukon gold rush, revolves around two brothers torn from their family who set out to find their violent father, a twisted man who has turned the Yukon Territory into his own personal hell.

Scott Einbinder will produce with Patrick Newall through Einbinder’s ANA Media banner.

Peck can be seen next in “Red Dawn” as well as the indie “ATM.” Ransone was most recently seen in a recurring role on HBO’s “How to Make It in America” and is currently filming New Regency’s “Broken City.”

Peck is repped by UTA and Ransone is repped by Management 360.
