Alexander Ludwig makes ‘Final’ cut

'Hunger Games" thesp to star opposite Abigail Breslin in revenge tale

After hunting Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games,” Alexander Ludwig is now setting his sights on Abigail Breslin, signing on to star opposite the actress in the indie film “Final Girl.”

Pic marks the directorial debut of photographer Tyler Shields. Adam Prince is scripting.

Story revolves around a girl who, after being dropped into the woods and hunted by a group of teenage boys, turns the tables by hunting them.

Rob Carliner, Jeff Kwatinetz and Joseph and Jack Nasser will produce the pic through Nasser’s NGN Productions and Kwatinetz and Carliner’s Prospect Park. The Nassers and NGN will also help finance.

Ludwig will not be in the upcoming “Hunger Games” sequels but has lined up a handful of projects since the first pic bowed in March. The ICM-repped Ludwig recently wrapped production on Sony’s “Grown Ups 2” and starts lensing Universal’s “Lone Survivor” next week.

ICM will repped the package when it is taken out to distribs. Shields is also repped by ICM.
