Drama set for March release

Adopt Films has acquired U.S. rights to Jeff Lipsky’s “Molly’s Theory of Relativity” and plans to release the drama in March.

“Molly’s Theory” stars Sophia Takal, Lawrence Michael Levine,  Reed Birney, Daisy Tahan, Cady Huffman,  Adam LeFevre, Rebecca Schull, Tom Morrissey and Nicholas Lampiasi.

“Molly’s Theory” was produced by Nick Athas and Inna Braude. Exec producers are Samuel Baumel and Wesley Wingo.

Story centers on an astronomer who has unexpectedly lost her job and is faced with making the first reckless decision of her life. It unfolds during an 18-hour period on Halloween.

Adopt Films plans to open “Molly’s Theory” following the debuts of titles which won Berlinale awards  – Ursula Meier’s “Sister,” Christian Petzold’s “Barbara,” Miguel Gomes’ “Tabu,” and the Taviani Brothers’ “Caesar Must Die.”
