Agnes Bruckner, Kurt Fuller join dark Dupieux indie
Agnes Bruckner (“Blue Car”) and Kurt Fuller (“Midnight in Paris”) have joined the cast of Quentin Dupieux’s dark indie comedy “Wrong Cops,” which stars Marilyn Manson, Mark Burnham and Grace Zabriskie.
Written and directed by Dupieux, pic chronicles the comic exploits of a group of really bad cops as they try to dispose of a nearly dead body that one of them has shot by mistake. Gregory Bernard and Josef Lieck, who produced Dupieux’s feature debut “Rubber,” will produce “Wrong Cops.”
Bruckner previously appeared in “Murder By Numbers,” “The Glass House” and “24.” Thesp currently co-stars in “The Pact” and will soon be seen in “The Baytown Outlaws.”
Veteran thesp Fuller has balanced hit comedies such as “Ghostbusters II,” “Wayne’s World” and “Scary Movie” with prestige dramas including “Ray” and “The Pursuit of Happyness” over his 25-year feature career.
