Arclight Films has added distribution exec Michael Wrenn to its roster.
Wrenn will be based out of the company’s Sydney office. His areas of expertise include sales and acquisitions, executive producing, production, development and distribution.
He recently established Curious Films Australia with an advertising production company of the same name and has been head of distribution for Alliance/Momentum.
Wrenn is also adding to Arclight’s library with films that include Ivan San’s “Mystery Raod,” starring Aaron Pedersen and produced by David Jowsey, with production starting in July; “Pinky Pinky,” by Zoe LaBand with Jeremy Nathan producing; and “The World Made Straight,” an adaptation of the Ron Rash novel by the same name to be directed by David Burris.
The announcement was made Wednesday at Cannes, which Wrenn has been attending with fiance Kylie de Fresne, a producer on “The Sapphires.”
