Nicolas Chartier’s Voltage Pictures continues to round out sales for Paul Walker action thriller “Hours” at the European Film Market.
Pic has sold to Latin America (California Filmes), the Middle East (Falcon), Germany and Benelux (Splendid), Hong Kong (Golden Harvest), China (Leeding Media), Thailand (IPA), CIS (Paradise), Eastern Europe (SPI), Taiwan (Studio Solutions Group), South Africa (Ster Kinekor) and Greece and the Indian sub-continent (Tanweer Group Dubai).
“Hours,” set in New Orleans, revolves around a man struggling to care for his newborn after his wife dies in childbirth, as Hurricane Katrina wreaks havoc. Eric Heisserer will direct.
Voltage is also beginning sales on Shia LaBeouf action-comedy “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.”
