‘Zero Dark Thirty’ triumphs at New York Film Critics Circle

"Lincoln" won New York Film Critics Circle honors for lead actor Daniel Day-Lewis, supporting actress Sally Field and screenwriter Tony Kusher, but "Zero Dark Thirty" fought back with awards for cinematographer Greig Fraswer, director Kathryn Bigelow and ultimately, the grand prize of top film.

With Rachel Weisz and Matthew McConaughey grabbing the other two acting kudos, no other major scripted awards contender was recognized. Among the films shut out of the NYFCC honors entirely were "Argo," "Les Miserables" and "Silver Linings Playbook."
