Disney was the only distributor to get more than one out of the eight animated feature nominees for this year’s 40th annual Annie Awards, while DreamWorks Animation’s “Dragons: Riders of Berk” was tops in TV with 10 nominations.

The feature nominees were:

“Brave” (Pixar)
“Frankenweenie” (Disney)
“Hotel Transylvania” (Sony)
“Paranorman” (Focus)
“The Pirates! Band of Misfits” (Aardman)
“The Rabbi’s Cat” (GKids)

“Wreck-It Ralph” (Disney)

“Frankenweenie” is having a particularly good day, having won the New York Film Critics Circle honor for animation.
