Newspaper to sponsor Entertainment Matters, offer print editions

Variety is set to again help entertainment pros navigate the massive International CES in Las Vegas, sponsoring the Entertainment Matters program and producing daily print editions on all four days of the show from Jan. 8-11.

The Entertainment Matters program on Jan. 9 and 10 will offer exhibits, keynotes, panels and events tailored to the Hollywood community. More than 32,000 industry pros attended this year’s CES.

On Jan. 9, the Film and Technology conference will cover digitally driven trends impacting story development, content distribution and marketing. The TV Programming and Technology portion on Jan. 10 will cover the evolution of TV on an increasing number of screens and platforms, viewership trends, monetization and creative control.

Panels will include the Studio Chief Technology Officer panel, Conquering the Film Distribution Maze and Masters of Creative Storytelling.

Variety’s daily print editions will be dedicated to Entertainment Matters news, events, schedules and special editorial features. Digital editions will be available online for Variety subscribers, as well as 10,000 copies of the print edition distributed in Las Vegas.
