SXSW doc screens free on Hulu

'Re:Generation Music Project' features Crystal Method

DJ docu “Re:Generation Music Project” is now exclusively available on the free ad-supported Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service, it was announced at SXSW, where the pic screened Monday in the fest’s special events showcase.

Helmed by Amir Bar-Lev (“The Tillman Story”), “Re: Generation” had a one-night, nationwide screening event in over 180 theaters on Feb. 16.

Pic features The Crystal Method, DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, Mark Ronson and Skrillex using technology to mix musical genres and creating five original tracks. The film will be featured as Hulu’s Documentary of the Month in March and April, and will available on the online video service through March 2014.

The film is a GreenLight Media & Marketing production in association with RSA Films.
