Nefllix, Fox ink distrib deal for Brazil, Latin America

Duo announce a multi-year licensing agreement

Netflix announced on Wednesday a multiyear licensing agreement with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution for Brazil and the rest of Latin America.

Pact includes all past seasons of “Prison Break,” “Arrested Development,” “24” and “The X-Files” as well as current and past seasons of “Glee,” “Bones” and “How I Met Your Mother” starting July 15.

20th Century Fox movies “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Wall Street” and “Office Space” will also become available in July, with other series and films added over the next few years, Netflix said in a statement.

Netflix launched in 43 countries, including in Latin America, in September 2011.
