Sandrew to remain as chief creative

3D conversion company Legend3D has tapped industry vet Ian Jessel as president.

Jessel has served as prexy of Miramax Intl., president and CEO of Nelson Entertainment and VP of international distribution and marketing at CBS Films. He replaces Legend founder Barry Sandrew in the president post. Sandrew will continue as Legend’s chief creative officer and chief technology officer.

Legend recently secured another $19 million in venture capital financing. Its 3D conversion credits include theatrical releases of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “Green Lantern.”
