MiTu focused on lifestyle programming
A new network featuring bilingual programming aimed at the burgeoning U.S. Hispanic audience is launching April 30th on YouTube.
MiTu Network will feature lifestyle content spanning six verticals: health, beauty, food, family, style and design.
The initiative is being led by Beatriz Acevedo and Doug Greiff of HIP Entertainment Group, the company behind Latin-inspired lifestyle programming for cablers including Food Network, Discovery Channel and Travel Channel.
“We saw a tremendous opportunity to bring our production expertise and advertising relationships to the web, to join forces with other Latin content creators who share a similar passion and point-of-view about contemporary Latin/Hispanic culture,” said Greiff.
