While President Obama soaked up campaign contributions at a series of events on Sunday, the pace of fundraising will pretty much continue unabated until just before Election Day.
Tonight, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, having proclaimed that the House is in play, raises money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee at the home of designer Michael Smith and HBO’s James Costos.
Also tonight, former President Bill Clinton appears at a benefit for his foundation’s Millennium Network at Paramount Studios, with Robin Thicke and The Ruse as entertainment. Chelsea Clinton is honorary co-chair of the event, and LL Cool J is honorary ambassador. Earlier today, Clinton was at the home of Michael King for a $1,000 per person fundraiser for the Obama campaign.
Over the weekend, Montana Sen. Jon Tester, running a tough race for reelection against Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), raised money at the Santa Monica home of Skip Brittenham and Heather Thomas.
