Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.) and Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) will face off in an April 30 debate at Cal State Northridge, along with Republicans Mark Reed and Susan Shelley.
The debate is organized and financed by CSUN’s student government, Associated Students. Bill Handel of KFI Radio will moderate.
The race is among the most competitive primary battles this season, as it pits two longtime incumbents against each other. California’s open primary this year leaves open the possibility of the race going into November. If Berman and Sherman are the two top vote getters on June 5, they will face off again in the general election
