Company sets up shop in Wilmington
Underlining the growth and staying power of the Tar Heel State in film production, payroll and production services company Entertainment Partners has expanded to Wilmington, NC.The company will offer procurement services there through EPPS Purchasing, its production equipment and supplies vendor for state film incentive purposes. Through the new office, EP’s Incentive Solutions unit will provide local support to the productions currently filming in the state, as well consultation to those considering filming there. “We’re pleased that production demands have grown so much in North Carolina,” said Michael Hill, EP exec veep, marketing. EP will also collaborate with the Wilmington Regional Film Commission and the North Carolina Film Office. “The film business is growing in North Carolina and as a result, industry-specific vendors will see the need to locate here,” said Wilmington commish Johnny Griffin. EP’s office is located at film and TV production facility EUE Screen Gems Studio. The company now has offices in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
