USA Network has promoted a pair of top New York-based execs, upping Vida Bauer to VP of program & production operations and administration and Rebecca Rhodes to VP of program scheduling.
Bauer will oversee key aspects for all USA, Sleuth and Universal HD original and acquired programming, including formatting, closed captioning, parental ratings, and standards and practices. She has been with the cabler since 1988.
Rhodes, a USA Network vet since 1999, will supervise the program scheduling department, assist with long-term planning and help supervise emerging networks Sleuth and Universal HD. She is responsible for movie and series scheduling and acts as the liaison with ad sales and marketing to coordinate sponsorships and stunts to enhance revenue and ratings.
Both women were formerly senior directors before receiving their VP stripes.
“Vida and Rebecca have been invaluable members of our team for a long time,” said Jane Blaney, exec VP of programming, acquisitions and scheduling. “Each brings an expertise and skill set that are vital to the network’s successful operation, and the well-deserved promotions reflect their important individual contributions.”
