‘Up All Night’ extends run

NBC orders two more episodes

NBC has ordered two more episodes of rookie comedy “Up All Night.”

The Christina Applegate/Will Arnett vehicle will see its first-season episode total reach 24 just a week after the network decided to move the series from Wednesday at 8 p.m. to Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

“Night” has been a modest success to date, but good enough to earn a back-nine order. The series averaged a 2 rating among viewers 18-49 and 5.2 million total viewers through the first seven weeks of the season.

“Night” is produced by Universal Television.
