Former MGM Worldwide Networks topper Bruce Tuchman is joining AMC Networks as prexy of global division AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
The exec will oversee distribution, international biz, programming and marketing of Sundance and WE TV around the world. He will report to AMC Networks chief operating officer Ed Carroll.
Tuchman managed MGM’s cable, satellite and broadcast networks across the globe. MGM Worldwide Networks has operations in more than 130 countries, and the division grew to its current size during Tuchman’s tenure. Prior to MGM, the exec worked on the international side for Nickelodeon and as veep of biz affairs and senior counsel, international development, for MTV Networks.
