TruTV sets sights on L.A.

Net promotes Hutt, Horn

TruTV will open a new production office in Los Angeles, to be run by exec producer David Dean. The net has also announced several new hires and bumped up Robyn Hutt to senior v.p. of original programming, expanding her role, with Anthony Horn promoted to senior v.p. of current programming and specials.

The net is also expanding the New York office where Horn and Hutt are based, growing Angel Annussek’s position (exec producer) to include the role of editorial director. The Gotham office will have two new staffers, as well: Mark Andstendig and Mark Powell, bot exec producers. Veep of development Marissa Ronca also has a new hire: Matthew Baxt, who will serve as director of development, working with consultant Paul Hardy.

Hutt will continue to oversee all production and content on TruTV, managing original programing including pilots, series and specials and reporting to senior veep of programming, production and development Darren Campo. Horn will manage large-scale productions and special programming events in this new role.
