Animated series earns 10-episode order
Comedy Central has ordered 10 episodes of animated series “Brickleberry,” with Daniel Tosh as one of the voices and exec producers.
“Brickleberry” follows the adventures of a group of dysfunctional national park forest rangers. Tosh (“Tosh.0”) is exec producing with series creators Waco O’Guin and Roger Black. A 2012 premiere is targeted.
Fox 21 (“Sons of Anarchy”) is co-producing with Comedy Central.
“This series has been a passion project for our company,” said prexy Bert Salke of Fox 21, the in-house shingle at Twentieth Century Fox TV focused on scripted series for cable and unscripted for cable and broadcast. Other Fox 21 projects include Showtime’s upcoming “Homeland.”
