Warner Horizon project hails from Bruce McKenna and Danny Cannon
Warner Horizon TV has lassoed a pilot order from TNT for an oater from scribe Bruce C. McKenna and helmer Danny Cannon.
“Gateway,” from Warner Horizon TV, revolves around three brothers in 1880s Colorado who step in to help save the town of Gateway after their father, the sheriff, is murdered. McKenna penned the script and will exec produce along with Cannon, who is set to direct the pilot.
The pilot order is cast-contingent.
McKenna is known for his work on HBO’s epic minis “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific.” Cannon helmed the pilots for all three “CSI” skeins, along with many other dramas. He recently worked with TNT as exec producer of the gritty cop show “Dark Blue.”
