Deal runs through 2013-14 season

“TMZ” will remain on Fox Television Stations through the 2013-14 season.

Telepictures’ celebrity-filled syndie strip has been on the air since 2007 and has been cleared in 75% of the country. Series is tops in the adults 18-34 demo in season-to-date averages and No. 2 in adults 18-49 and 25-54.

With the extension, the show will remain on the Fox affiliates in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Harvey Levin and Jim Paratore are exec producers. Show is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

There was speculation that Warner Bros. might launch a sports-based TMZ site that would focus on the personal lives of athletes, but that has not come to fruition.
