The Television Critics Assn. will be heading back to Pasadena for its next two winter tours.
Org announced that the scribe tribe will have its 2012 and 2013 January confabs at the Langham Hotel. The most recent winter tour was held there as well.
For the upcoming summer session, scheduled to run July 26-Aug. 8, writers will gather at the Beverly Hilton. Winter tours can’t be held there because the hotel is the home of the Golden Globe Awards in mid-January.
After an opening day of set visits, the cablers will present their new wares July 27-29; PBS takes over the proceedings July 30-31. NBCUniversal will actually take two days as well (Aug. 1-2), followed by CBS (Aug. 3), the CW and Showtime (Aug. 4), Fox (Aug. 5), FX (Aug. 6) and ABC (Aug. 7). The last day of tour will be filled with set visits.
TCA members will begin voting at the end of May to determine nominations for this year’s TCA Awards. Kudos will be held Aug. 6.
