Style Network has picked up its unscripted summer series “Tia & Tamera” after five segs yielded an average of 755,000 viewers — far and away the highest ratings in the fashion cabler’s history.
Style, run directly by Comcast until recently, is now a part of NBCUniversal’s Women at NBCU portfolio, making it the newly adopted sister cabler to Oxygen and Bravo.
The series, produced by Jason Carbone and stars Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley for Good Clean Fun, concludes its first season on Oct. 3. Production on season two will start later this year. A spokeswoman said the network had not yet determined how many segs it would order for the show’s second round.
