The Style Network will debut “Psychic in Suburbia,” a one-hour docu special, on July 30.Show, which furthers the network’s “Style Exposed” doc initiative, will follow well-known East Coast psychic Maureen Hancock, who serves as a medium between people and their deceased loved ones. Hancock’s private practice draws hundreds of clients. Doc will also feature Hancock’s two young nieces who have recently joined her practice. Slam exec produced the project in association with ABC Media Prods. while Sander/Moses Prods. developed the show with Rachel Tung. The docudrama may be considered by Style as a series pickup if it performs well in its debut. Exec producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses know the psychic territory well — the two were at the helm of CBS’ paranormal drama “Ghost Whisperer” for five seasons.
