LONDON — Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to Cannes for the first time in eight years — to hype his new TV skein at the Mip TV mart, which runs April 4 to 7.

The actor and former California governor will unveil the project on April 4. He joins celebs including Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green, Jamie Campbell Bower, John Barrowman, Bill Pullman and Oliver Hirschbiegel.

In related news, BBC Worldwide will sell six new formats at the mart: “The House That Made Me,” “Junior Doctors: Your Life in Their Hands,” “Toughest Place to Be,” “Generation Gap,” “Cook Off” and “A Farmer’s Life for Me.”

Mip TV is run by Reed Midem, which like Variety, is an arm of Reed Elsevier.
