PILOTS: CBS marries Rob Schneider, picks up another domestic laffer

Robschneider CBS added two more to its comedy pilot roster Friday evening, both of them domestic vehicles.

Rob Schneider (pictured left) will front an untitled project about a man who marries into a tight-knit Mexican-American family. Project hails from Schneider and Lew Morton, who exec produce with Eric Tannenbaumand Kim Tannenbaum for CBS TV Studios.

“Homegrown” focuses on four generations of a blue-collar Midwestern clan living under the same roof. Multi-cam project comes from comedy vets Jeff Filgo and Jackie Filgo, who wrote and exec produce for Warner Bros. TV.

Now that I’ve posted this, I’m going back to my own domestic comedy already in progress. I just got killed by my 10-year-old in a high-stakes game of “Go to the Head of the Class.”
