Network taps 'Salt' helmer for dark sudser
ABC is loading up feature film players for the pilot for its dark sudser “Revenge,” from “Swingtown” creator Mike Kelley.
Phillip Noyce has cut a deal to direct the drama that revolves around a woman who rents a house in the Hamptons for the summer and is secretly on a mission to exact revenge on her neighbors.
The ABC Studios project is exec produced by Kelley and Temple Hill Entertainment partners Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, producers of the “Twilight” pics.
Noyce most recently helmed last year’s Angelina Jolie starrer “Salt.” For the small screen he’s directed episodes of HBO’s upcoming drama “Luck,” Showtime’s “Brotherhood” and Fox’s “Tru Calling.” He’s also an exec producer on FX’s well-received boxing drama “Lights Out.”
Noyce is repped by UTA, manager Ross Fineman and Ziffren Brittenham.
