Oxygen has greenlit eight episodes of “Best Ink,” a new series announced as part of its development slate back in April.
Hourlong competish skein follows 10 tattoo artists competing for a $100,000 prize and a cover story in Tattoo Magazine.
Series is hosted by Kimberly Caldwell and produced by “Kardashian” and “Real World” shingle Bunim-Murray Prods., which also creates “Love Games” and “The Bad Girls Club” for the network.
Competition challenges will be judged by tattoo artist Joe Capobianco and model Sabina Kelley, along with a rotating guest judge. Series preem is slated for this winter.
