NBC’s ‘Voice’ goes live in June

Series expands to two-hour editions

NBC is expanding episodes of “The Voice” to live two-hour editions in June.

The series will make the switch from the one-hour edition beginning June 7 from 9-11 p.m., with a one-hour edition of “America’s Got Talent” serving as a lead-in.

“Talent” will also get a two-hour expansion for its season premiere on May 31, but will revert to one-hour versions every Tuesday thereafter.

The second hour of “Talent” will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. beginning June 1.

“Voice” has been a surprise success for NBC, ranking as the top-rated new series of the season among adults 18-49.
