NBC has ordered a pilot for a comedy script with Sarah Silverman attached to star.
The single-camera comedy comes from 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. Script featured Silverman in a loosely autobiographical role about a woman who is newly single after being in a decade-long live-in relationship.
Executive producers are Silverman, John Schroeder, Dan Sterling, Francie Calfo, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
Silverman marks the third comedy script NBC has picked up to pilot including “Isabel,” an adaptation of Canadian series “Le Monde de Charlotte” from Universal TV, Kapital Entertainment and Sphere Media; and “Save Me,” about a woman who has an accident and subsequently believes that she has gained the ability to channel God, from Sony Pictures Television and Original Film.
