MyNetworkTV will add “Law & Order: SVU” and “Cold Case” to its primetime schedule this fall, the network announced Wednesday.
The News Corp.-owned property is filling its weeknight-only schedule entirely with double runs of syndicated drama hours. The rest of its schedule includes “Burn Notice,” “Without A Trace” and “Monk.” “This season on MyNetworkTV the hour-long, franchise programs have proven to be popular with viewers,” said Paul Franklin, executive vp at MyNetworkTV. “Next season, for the first time, each night will feature a double-bill of television’s most established and successful hit series.” Gone from the schedule are “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” “SVU” will air on Monday and “Case” on Tuesday.
