MTV renews ‘Ridiculousness’

Funny-video show a hit with young men in first year

MTV has ordered a second season of funny-video show “Ridiculousness,” hosted by Rob Drydek.

The series ranks right behind “Jersey Shore” among the net’s programs in males 12-34. Overall, it averages 1.9 million viewers weekly, according to Nielsen.

“Ridiculousness” breaks down amateur viral videos with running commentary by Drydek and his co-hosts and is produced by Dickhouse Entertainment. Drydek, occasional guest star Jeff Tremaine, Shane Nickerson and Christian Duguay produce.
