MTV Networks has given Casey Patterson an expanded role, naming her exec veep of event production, talent development and studio relations.
Patterson, who had been senior veep of Spike TV and TV Land, will be involved with the rest of MTV Networks Entertainment Group, which also encompasses Comedy Central as well as related websites. Patterson shepherds the creation and execution of event programming and management of celebrity talent, as well as movie studio relations for the three nets.
