Former CNN host's 'Tonight' to air weeknights at 7

Fox Business Network is set to launch “Lou Dobbs Tonight” March 14.

Host signed a multiyear pact with Fox Business in November after he left CNN in 2009 following controversial remarks about illegal immigration and President Obama’s birthplace.

Hourlong show, which will air weeknights at 7 o’clock and bears the same title of his former CNN program, will feature a breakdown of the day’s top stories and how they impact the economy. “Tonight” will replace “America’s Nightly Scoreboard,” which will shift to 9 p.m.

Fox Business is seen in about 50 million homes and its main competitor is CNBC. The NBCUniversal cabler is at a competitive advantage in that it reaches more households.
