Lifetime has renewed drama “Drop Dead Diva” for a fourth season with a 13-episode order.
Skein, set to end its third season Sunday, stars Brooke Elliott as a model reincarnated as an overweight attorney. Show is produced by Sony Pictures Television. “Diva” has been a bright spot on the cabler’s scripted slate, averaging 2.3 million viewers this season and attracting a healthy female demo in its 9 p.m. Sunday timeslot. News of the pickup comes a day after Lifetime canceled its first-year reality series “Roseanne’s Nuts,” about Roseanne Barr’s life on a Hawaiian nut farm. Creator Josh Berman exec produces “Diva” with Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Alex Taub.
