Jemma Rodgers to head joint venture
LONDON — Shine Group shingles Kudos and Brown Eyed Boy have formed a joint venture in Scotland aimed at working with local talent.
Kudos Brown Eyed Boy Scotland will be headed by Jemma Rodgers, poached from BBC Scotland, where she was head of comedy.
The venture, based in Edinburgh, hopes to build on such Scottish-based shows as Kudos’ lesbian drama “Lip Service” and Brown Eyed Boy’s twentysomething sitcom “How Not to Live Your Life.”
Rodgers will report to Kudos’ creative director Jane Featherstone and Brown Eyed Boy’s managing director Gary Reich.
