Rocker ready to be skewered by Comedy Central
Kid Rock is next in line to get skewered in a Comedy Central roast.
Soiree for the Michigan-born musician will be taped Aug. 14, though no location has been announced. A majority of the roasts are held in Los Angeles, but the most recent Donald Trump event was shot in Gotham.
While ratings for the roast had been steadily declining, cabler saw an uptick for Trump, which drew 3.5 million viewers. Previous roastees include Joan Rivers, Larry the Cable Guy and Bob Saget.
Kid Rock’s debut album was “Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast.” He will begin a tour with Sheryl Crow in July.
Roast will be exec produced by Joel Gallen.
