Exec to head domestic TV and digital sales
Miramax has appointed former MGM exec Joe Patrick senior VP, head of domestic television and digital sales.
Effective immediately, Patrick will oversee all of the company’s domestic television sales, including to broadcast, cable and digital outlets.
Prior to joining Mirmax, Patrick was an exec VP at MGM Worldwide Television Group. During his tenure at the studio, he oversaw all TV sales in North and Latin America as well as digital distribution.
Since a group of investors purchased Miramax from Disney last year, new leadership has emphasized a push to exploit its library through new digital channels.
“We are very pleased to have Joe join our team,” said CEO Mike Lang in a statement. “His significant experience in TV sales and digital is exactly what we need as we maximize our library in these areas.”
