NBCUniversal is adding eight high-profile women to the advisory board at Women at NBCU, the conglomerate’s portfolio of TV and digital brands targeting femme consumers.
Joining the board are “Morning Joe” anchor Mika Brzezinski, Coca-Cola’s Wendy Clark, L’Oreal’s Deborah Marquardt, EDventure’s Esther Dyson, Macy’s Andra Ehrenkranz, Deutsch Inc.’s Linda Sawyer, Hearst Corp.’s Ellen Levine and Katherine Oliver of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
The board, which functions as a think tank on female consumer trends, convenes April 5 after Women at NBCU’s Power of the Purse breakfast. Iman has been tapped to deliver a keynote on the subject of multicultural marketing.
Board, which already includes a few dozen women such as Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg and CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo, is chaired by Lauren Zalaznick, chair of NBCU Entertainment and Digital Networks & Integrated Media.
Brands in the Women at NBCU portfolio include Oxygen, Style and DailyCandy.
