The Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has reached a three-year deal covering crews for TV shows produced by FremantleMedia North America.

Pact was jointly announced Tuesday by the union and FMNA, the U.S. production division of FremantleMedia. The agreement covers domestic programs produced for network and basic cable, including “American Idol,” “America’s Got Talent” and the upcoming “The X Factor,” which is co-produced with Simon Cowell’s Syco Television.

The announcement also said IATSE crews have already been working on several Fremantle shows and noted that the new agreement “establishes parameters” across all programs. Specific details weren’t immediately disclosed.

“We are pleased to enter into this long-term relationship,” said IATSE president Matthew Loeb. “This new enhanced agreement underlines our commitment to working with FremantleMedia North America on some of the biggest programming brands on television.”
