Net orders two pilots for live-action gameshows
Cartoon Network has ordered two pilots from Phil Gurin. Both are live-action gameshows based on international formats.
“Stuck!,” a reworking of French series “The Hand,” is co-created by Gurin and Coyote Conseil, while Gurin will team with Fuji Creative Corp. on a Stateside version of Japanese series “NEP League.”
“Stuck!” is a comedy gamer in which challenges are centered around getting stuck, staying stuck or getting unstuck (a variety of sticky substances are involved). “NEP League” is a quiz competish in which contestants are teleported into magical, videogame-like worlds.
International distrib rights will be shared between the Gurin Co. and the shingles that co-created the two shows, respectively.
